Church Chinese New Year Visitation

It is Chinese New Year once again, and today was the annual church Chinese New Year visitation.  Two homes were opened for members of the congregation to visit together.  We went to the home of Roy & Poh Choo, along with Dave & Linda Poortinga, who are visiting from Loveland, Colorado.

We began with singing and an exhortation.

Roy also read from Joshua 1:1-9 as a goodbye for a young man named Max who is leaving for overseas study in Australia.  Max's sister Meryl was just baptized, and he has been attending church with her for several months.

The rest of our time was spent eating lunch and visiting with each other.
